FIat2The archdiocese of New York is auctioning the 2015 Fiat 500 Lounge Hatchback used by Pope Francis during his visit to New York City.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan will meet with the winning bidder to bless the vehicle
Proceeds benefit the Archdiocese of New York.

WHO: Charitybuzz and the Archdiocese of New York have teamed up to auction the 2015 Fiat 500 Lounge Hatchback used by Pope Francis during his visit to New York City. Net proceeds from the sale of the auction will benefit Catholic Schools, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Near East Welfare Association.

WHAT: The auction winner will receive the 2015 Fiat 500 Lounge Hatchback, which was provided by Chrysler for the Papal Visit to the United States on Sept 22-27 2015. The winner of the auction will also be given the opportunity to meet with Cardinal Timothy Dolan at St. Patrick’s Cathedral or the Archdiocese of New York to bless the car. carddinal with carThe Secret Service confirmed the Holy Father used this Fiat, as reported by the Archdiocese of New York who will provide a letter of confirmation to the winner.



The chance to own Pope Francis’ 2015 Fiat 500 Lounge Hatchback is up for bidding now until March 31, 2016 at 3PM EDT.

ABOUT THE CAR: In September 2015, Pope Francis visited the United States and made an unforgettable stop in New York City. His visit touched thousands of people throughout the city and included mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a multi-religious service at the 9/11 Memorial, and a Central Park motorcade.
